What does the Summer/Winter Camp/Training program offer include?
Most often the offer includes accommodation, three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner), transportation in Finland, program and host.

Who takes care of Flight tickets, VISA and Insurances?
The Client (Travel agency, agent) shall be responsible for purchasing flight tickets, insurances and acquiring VISA.

Do you send Invitation for the Delegation for VISA?
Yes.

What is the Accommodation like?
We provide accommodation at hotel Waltikka, Valkeakoski and/or partly in Tampere and Helsinki. During Summer Camps you might stay at Cottage – in the middle of forest and next to lake.

Do you pick up the delegation from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport?
We will take care of the transportation on arrival day by rented bus from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Hotel Waltikka and from Valkeakoski to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport on departure day as well as all the transportation during the program in Finland.

Insurance?
Camp and training participants are responsible for their travel and other necessary insurances. The Client (Travel agency, agent) shall be responsible for purchasing personal European (e.g. AON or AIG) travel insurance for each member of the delegation with appropriate coverage – incl. free time as well as dentist services – in case of personal injury or property damage.

Should the participants be able to speak Finnish or English?
It would be better if the participants can speak English – at least – a little bit. Not any requirements as IELTS or Toefel.

 

Are there any specific requirements for Summer and Winter Camp participants?
You have to be able walk in the Forest and during City sightseeing.

 

Is it possible that parents attend the same camp?
Yes.

 

Do students and parents have the same program?
Student and parents must not attend the Camp together. If parents will not visit schools at all and there will be free-time activities arranged for parents.

 

What is min size of the group?
Ordinary min size for Winter and Summer Camps is 20. In some special cases 15.

 

Who can send students to Summer and Winter Camps?
The sending partner has to be a company or school.

Can your Client choose and combine the Modules?
Yes. There are short Modules (2-4 hours) and one-day modules. You can combine Modules based on your expectations. One Camp day is usually 8-12 hours.

How many hours is one Ordinary Camp day?
One Camp day is usually from 08:00am to 20:00pm – including one one-day module or 2-3 short modules.

Which airport is nearest to the camp?
Helsinki-Vantaa Airport – 1.5-hour drive to Valkeakoski Camp.
